Rentals and the Best Bucharest Travel Advice for Shopping

Fashion

The stretch between Piata Unirii and Piata Romana, passing through Piata Universitatea, is Bucharest's High Street and fashion district. This is a short, pleasant jaunt from our Bucharest accommodation.

Calea Dorobanti

This area in the north serves the richer districts of Baneasa and Floreasca with its mini-malls, high-end fashion outlets and trendy cafes. To get here from your Bucharest accommodation you'll want to go by metro, taxi or rental car. Our Bucharest Flats are south of here in the city centre.

Calea Victoriei

Here you'll find many of the high end fashion stores in Bucharest, that often attract people staying with us in Bucharest flats.

Calea Mosilor

In the west of the city, a metro ride away from our rentals Bucharest is Calea Mosilor, another longish shopping street with a wide range of stores, restaurants and useful facilities.

Outdoor Food markets:

If you're going to on a Bucharest Travel journey you'll need to find the good grocers. Here are a few recommendations that are easy to access from our Bucharest accommodation.

Piata Obor

A huge covered market located close to the Metro station in Obor. Our Bucharest flats are also right near the metro, so you'll have no trouble getting here.

Piata Amzei

A fruits, vegetables, meats, and cheeses market close to Piata Romana on the west of Bd. Magheru that you'll find easy to get to on foot from your apartment.

Bucharest Mall

"The Mall" as locals refer to it, was Bucharest's first western style mall, and is exactly what you would expect from a mall in any other country: fashion outlets, fast food court, bowling alley, a good cinema, and people hanging out, being seen.

The Bucharest mall also has gaming rooms, and a casino that are popular with guests of our Bucharest flats. There is a small children's play area in the basement, a dry-cleaners, supermarket, and a currency exchange office. Even if you're just after short term Bucharest accommodation you'll likely find the mall useful and pleasant for shopping.
