Easy Access From All Apartments & Rentals In Bucharest

The largest public transportation system in Romania includes the Bucharest Metro, which as in many big cities works through an underground network. The Bucharest Metro was many years in the coming, with the first plans being drafted as early as the 1930's. World War II and post war political upheaval caused these plans to be put on hold until the first line was laid in 1979. All of our Bucharest apartments are located no more than 5 minutes from centrally located Piata Unirii station on the M1 and M2 Lines and provides transport all around the city.

Of course there are other lands travel systems (buses, trolleys and light rail trains) that are all surprisingly efficient. Enough so that you won't even miss your car whilst in Bucharest! From Bucharest apartments the public commutes are short and easy to any part of the city.   But if you do wish to drive, and with readily available car rentals, Bucharest can accommodate this desire as well.

Also, from apartments in Bucharest there are many easy ways to travel to other major Eastern European centers or to the beautiful Romanian countryside.  Romania has a rich infrastructure for roadways, making it a refreshing change to some other tourist destinations.  There is also regular, cheap and easy train transportation the surrounding areas.

Finally, those with aquatic interests may soon be accommodated as well.  While Bucharest has not traditionally been a port city, the construction of a canal connecting Bucharest to the mighty Danube will give boaters new access to that waterway and the Black Sea.  It could make for a lovely Eastern European boat adventure just outside the door from beautiful apartments in Bucharest.

Bucharest apartments offer access to this marvelous transportation system that is filled with treasures near and far.
